- Introducing Panasonic’s new UE-Series: Meet the AW-UE50 and AW-UE40 4K UHD PTZ Cameras

- - The new Panasonic integrated 4K PTZ (pan/tilt/zoom) cameras AW-UE50 and AW-UE40 feature a new 1/2.5-type 4K MOS sensor, 24x optical zoom and up to a 36x intelligent zoom, as well as an 74.1 degree viewing angle to support usage in both indoor and outdoor environments. Both models support a wide variety of IP transmission protocols, including high-efficiency NDI|HX version 2, Secure Reliable Transport (SRT), RTMP and RTMPS. The UE50 supports 3G SDI, HDMI and IP and the UE40 HDMI and IP which makes them ideal to be used within existing HD or 4K workflows thanks to its simultaneous video output feature.
They support PoE, enabling a single-cable solution whereby video and audio, control, and power can be provided to and from the camera via a single ethernet connection. They feature a new ‘Direct Drive System’ for quiet and smooth vertical and horizontal direction, with a reduced operating sound of NC25 or lower. Direct drive also opens up more opportunities for PTZ operation including faster, precise movement and with higher accuracy in preset positioning.
They are ideal solutions for high-quality live remote and studio production and are designed to support the following markets: live streaming events, entry-level studio configurations, higher education and corporate installs as well as multi purpose events.
Panasonic offers an entire ecosystem of solutions to enable these PTZ cameras to be smoothly introduced into existing camera systems – including usage with Panasonic remote camera controllers and the free-to-download PTZ Control Center centralised control software.
